TERMS, CONDITIONS AND PROCESSES
We work hard to ensure you enjoy the process and never have to read these terms again, but our lawyers advised us to create these, to ensure clarity and cover unique situations. We appreciate your business and your confidence. It is our policy to work with you until you are satisfied. Over 75% of our business is from referrals from happy customers and colleagues. We take client satisfaction very seriously.
PROCESS: All coaching and writing projects begin upon providing payment by Client to The Dream Life Team (henceforth referred to as “Company”).
PROJECT COMMUNICATION: Client agrees to make reasonable efforts to be available by email and telephone, to answer questions; failure to be available could cause a delay or termination of the project. We reserve the right to cancel the project if a client disappears completely, or if processes outlined here are not followed.
Preferred communication is via email rather than text or phone call, and slack for group coaching. Office hours are generally 9am to 5pm EST Monday through Friday, and we will respond in a timely manner to communication requests inside these hours. As available we will respond to emails outside of these hours.
PAYMENT: Invoice must be paid on agreed upon schedule to begin the process.
REFUNDS: For the full Executive Job Search Fast Track program, and all other services, we do not provide refunds (reviewed on case by case basis). All sales are final - no refunds, no exceptions due to the time investment and nature of our services. There is no trial period after purchasing our coaching and deliverables. We work hard to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Your purchase assumes full knowledge, acceptance, and agreement of these terms and conditions, including the no refund and no chargeback policy. Filing a chargeback or refusing payment for a legitimate service provided will be treated as fraud.
The Job Search Fast Track Program includes all coaching sessions listed, all documents listed, all assessments listed and all workbooks and materials. We do recommend some optional subscription services for LinkedIn premium career or LinkedIn Sales Navigator membership (under $100/mo), or marketing automation monthly subscription tools (very low cost $15/mo); these are not covered in the program and are an optional addition if you want to use them (you will have to purchase subscription tools on your own if you decide to use them).
CAREER PIVOT AND TRANSITION COACHING: This service is designed to be completed in a timely manner to maintain continuity, with weekly coaching and being completed in 2-3 months. If client disappears and does not communicate reason, and a lapse happens in the coaching sequence, we reserve the right to bill a $100 re-start fee to re-familiarize ourselves with the process.
NO GUARANTEE OF EMPLOYMENT OR TIME FRAME IN LANDING A JOB: While the resume / LinkedIn profile and job search techniques shared by the Dream Life Team typically will greatly accelerate a client’s job search, we make no guarantees on finding a job at all, or in any specified time frame, or for any specified salary. We do not guarantee LinkedIn profile views. Much of the success of the job search will depend upon the client’s ability to network, interview, and follow through on our training. Outcomes are determined by many items including client’s effort, job market, and workforce changes.
JOB SEARCH FAST TRACK PROGRAM: This is a unique, comprehensive program covering career documents, job search strategy, interviewing and other topics as outlined on website. Dream Life Team again does not guarantee employment or time frame in landing a job, although most do greatly accelerate their job search, and often land a new job in 90 days. Our program involves multiple steps, and some session require some light pre-work. To receive maximum benefit and land your new job as soon as possible, we recommend completing all session pre-work and attending all sessions, and following through on goals for reaching out to companies and network connections. Failure to do so can significantly impact job search success.
Coaching for job search and interviewing are meant to be delivered within the first 4-6 weeks of the program, not drag on for 4-6 months.
Unless earlier terminated as provided herein, this Agreement and Client’s participation and access to the Program shall commence as of the Effective Date and shall terminate upon the earlier of the following: (a) receipt of an offer of full-time employment (contract or permanent) from a third party to Client (reviewable on a case-by-case basis), or (b) Client is no longer an Active Member in the Program and disappears [no communication with the Dream Life Team and/or no execution of the program (tracked on our tool) for 2 months or more].
COACHING SESSIONS - CANCELLATION POLICY:
We expect that you will be available for our coaching sessions and that you will show up on time. If a client shows up late, we are not able to extend the session as we often have the hour following that session booked.
If an emergency happens we ask clients to cancel the meeting with at least 24 hours advanced notice. For meetings cancelled in less than 24 hours, we reserve the right to bill for our time ($250 for a 50-minute session, $125 for a 25-minute session). If a client schedules and cancels a session more than 3 times in a row, we reserve the right to forfeit the session.
LIABILITY: We assume that all information provided to us by the client is truthful and accurate. We do not conduct background checks to verify information supplied. Client will indemnify and hold Dream Life Team and Rebecca Bosl free from any claims, judgments, costs, or legal fees arising from services rendered, or actions you take on LinkedIn, or content you post; we advise you to review and comply with the terms of service on social media platforms, including LinkedIn. At times, computer screens and printers will display resumes differently. We cannot guarantee documents will display perfectly on every screen.
PRIVACY: All information shared with us remains confidential, as well as the fact that you are conducting a job search. Your information with us is secure and we would never share any personal or contact information with anyone or third-party entities. Our billing is done through a secure, third-party site. We do not identify current or former clients to others, unless you choose to provide a public recommendation. We take privacy very seriously. We are not responsible for the privacy of third party services (such as scheduling software, billing software, or payment processors).
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: We reserve the right to use client career documents as samples in print or online, with all identifying information changed (name, personal information, company names, titles, dates, etc.) to ensure anonymity. Clients reserve the right to refuse the use of their documents as anonymous samples by notifying us of their intent up front. All resume formats and designs are copyrighted for sole ownership of Dream Life Team / Rebecca Bosl. Designs and formats cannot be copied and used for anyone other than the client of the original resume.
NEW TERMS: These terms may be modified at any time, and we will provide you with notice before they take effect.
RESUME PROCESS: Any extra documents, test scores, sample job descriptions, or other materials must be shared with your writer at least 24 hours prior to the intake session.
Documents will be prepared through rewriting existing content and leveraging branding and career overview sessions for new content. We expect to spend no more than 20 minutes reviewing content and job descriptions, not spending hours reviewing a large volume of supplemental content. If client doesn’t have an existing resume, we may have them jot down a few brief notes so they remember what to discuss during the career overview session.
If additional or new information is introduced after the intake session, or a total change of direction in resume content or design is requested after sign off and approval, additional fees for consultation, writing, or revisions apply at our current hourly rate. Once the career overview intake session is scheduled, we ask the client to NOT re-schedule this except for extreme circumstances. We request 3 days or more notice to re-schedule for emergencies only.
We expect the initial draft to be 95% on target and delivered in 5-7 business days. We will collaborate on 1-3 rounds of edits leveraging Microsoft Word. We cannot process any changes from Google docs or Apple pages. If needed, client can opt to purchase Microsoft 365 monthly for the review process.
It is to be understood that the editing process is to have the goal of completing one overall resume. After the initial resume is complete and signed off, if a second resume is needed (either a second focus or a resume customized for a particular job), the second resume is understood to be a separate project billed at our current hourly rate. A resume is defined as a 2-3 pages document.
We anticipate the process of writing, editing, and proofreading the document will occur in a timely fashion, within 30 days from receipt of the resume draft. Silence by the client and not re-engaging within 30 days from receipt of draft constitutes acceptance as final product. A project is considered complete after 30 days from receipt of draft. Following completion of the resume, future edits for new jobs and new accomplishments are considered updates that are billed at our current hourly rates.
PROOFREADING: We will proofread the resume; however, we ask that clients proofread the resume as well as check for accuracy and completeness. If corrections are needed, the client should raise them to the resume writer. We are not responsible for errors or omissions that the client may miss during the client proofreading process. We assume no liability after the client has proofread the resume and signed off, verbally or in written form, on the final document.
LINKEDIN PROFILE PROCESS:
Following resume “sign off”, we will draft a LinkedIn profile summary and headline on MS word for the client to review and turn this draft around within 7 business days. The same process of editing follows the LinkedIn profile draft (1-2 rounds of edits provided on word, both client and Company providing proofreading).
The summary and headline will be based off the branding section of the resume but re-written slightly to be in first person format and re-worded; and include more information from the branding worksheet. With the standard LinkedIn profile engagement, we write a custom headline and about section, recommend which skills to use, recommend info for “open to work” section, and slightly re-write the jobs from the resume. We put all of this revised information on a word document, and go back and forth with edits, in the same manner as the resume.
Once the paper version is signed off as being complete and correct, the uploading process can start. Please keep in mind that changes made after we have uploaded info are much more difficult and time-consuming. Please ensure everything is correct on the word document. After the project is signed off as complete, we expect that the client is going to want to update LinkedIn on an on-going basis.
We encourage the client to upload the content themselves to LinkedIn as this allows the client to become more familiar with LinkedIn. We have a training video on how to do this. We can also be available to do this jointly in a zoom session if desired and do this together with screen sharing.
COVER LETTERS/OTHER LETTERS: Following resume and / or LinkedIn profile completion and “sign off,” we create a basic cover letter for those who requested this product, and it can be used / slightly modified for use when applying for jobs. A draft will be turned around in 7 business days. The same process of editing the resume follows the cover letter (1-2 rounds of edits provided on word, both proofreading). Once complete, we will ask the client to carefully review and proofread the cover letter and then sign off verbally. The cover letter is a master template with your information added and some accomplishments added; you will need to slightly customize it for each job you apply to.
RESULTS: We are not responsible for the results or lack of results a client may experience if they choose to not use the resume, LinkedIn profile, job search advice or interview advice we provide.
DISAPPEARANCE: We anticipate optimal results if client participates in the program, works with us, and completes all exercises. Please notify us of any extreme circumstances and we can adjust (death in family, illness, etc.). If client disappears from project completely, and stops communication and does not advise why or respond to communication, the engagement terminates after 2 months and client loses access to program and resources.
